I am a workplace investigator, mediator, and dispute resolution professional based in Cobble Hill, British Columbia.

After serving nearly 19 years in the Royal Canadian Navy, I attained the rank of Petty Officer Second Class and was recognized for leadership, initiative, and professionalism. My military experience taught me the importance of fairness, accountability, and addressing conflict effectively and respectfully.

I hold a Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Justice. I also completed the Workplace Investigation Training and Certificate Program through the Human Resource Professionals Association, equipping me to conduct impartial workplace harassment and misconduct investigations.

My commitment to alternative dispute resolution has led me to complete mediation and arbitration training, including programs through Restorative Justice Cowichan, where I continue to volunteer as a mentor and facilitator. I believe conflict can be an opportunity for growth when addressed constructively, fairly, and professionally.

Through Ameliorate Solutions, I provide independent workplace investigations, mediation, and arbitration services to employers, organizations, municipalities, and community groups throughout British Columbia. I am also a By-Law Adjudicator for the Province of British Columbia. 

I am proud to live and work in the MÁLEXEȽ (Malahat) and Quw'utsun territories, where my family and I live in Cobble Hill. I am actively involved in the community through the Cobble Hill Improvement District and, when time permits, as a musician with the Cowichan Pipes and Drums.

My goal is simple: to help people and organizations make the best of a bad situation by resolving conflict fairly, professionally, and effectively.
